Refund & Cancellation Policy

CodeCX policy for website, product and checkout interactions.

This policy explains cancellation and refund treatment for CodeCX SaaS subscriptions and bespoke/custom professional services. Mandatory rights under applicable Egyptian law always prevail.

1. SaaS subscriptions

Cancellation. A customer may cancel a recurring SaaS subscription at any time before the next renewal date. Cancellation stops future renewals; access normally continues until the end of the already-paid billing period unless the service is suspended for a permitted reason.

Current billing period. Subscription fees for a billing period that has already started and for which service access has been activated are generally non-refundable, except where:

  • the customer was charged twice or charged an incorrect amount;
  • CodeCX did not provide or activate the purchased service;
  • the service has a material defect or material non-conformity that CodeCX cannot remedy within a reasonable correction period; or
  • a refund is otherwise required by applicable law.

Renewals. Renewal charges may be stopped by cancelling before the renewal date. Requests received after a renewal has been processed are assessed under the conditions above and any mandatory legal rights.

2. Bespoke / Custom Solutions

Bespoke services are priced and delivered against an approved quotation, proposal, statement of work or milestone schedule.

Before work starts. If the customer cancels before CodeCX has started the agreed work, prepaid amounts may be refunded after deduction of clearly identified, non-recoverable third-party costs already committed for that project.

After work starts. Amounts relating to discovery, design, development, implementation or other work already performed are not refundable. Any unused prepaid amount allocated to future, unperformed phases may be refundable after reconciliation of completed work and committed project costs.

Milestones. An accepted or completed milestone is not refundable merely because the customer later changes direction or no longer needs the solution. If a milestone does not materially meet the agreed acceptance criteria, CodeCX first has a reasonable opportunity to correct or re-perform the affected work.

CodeCX non-performance. If CodeCX materially fails to deliver an agreed milestone and does not remedy the failure within the agreed or reasonable cure period, the customer may be entitled to a refund of amounts specifically paid for the undelivered portion, subject to the contract and applicable law.

Scope changes. Change requests, customer delays, unavailable customer dependencies, third-party platform issues and work outside the approved scope do not create an automatic refund right and are handled under the applicable quotation/SOW/change-control process.

3. Refund processing

Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method where reasonably possible. The customer must provide the order, invoice or subscription reference and sufficient information to identify the payment. Processing time depends on the payment provider and banking channel.

4. Consumer-law rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any mandatory right that applies under Egyptian consumer-protection law. Where a mandatory legal remedy applies, that remedy takes priority over the commercial rules above.

5. Requests

Send cancellation or refund requests to info@codecx.tech and include the customer name, company, order/invoice reference, product or project name, and reason for the request.
